Architectural Committee Meetings The Architectural Committee meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. The meetings take place at the fire station and are open to property owners and invited guests. Please sign the sign-in sheet on the table as you arrive. Pick up any necessary forms -- they are available on the table. Owners or owner agents must sign the sheets. Owner agent must have written permission from owner to be the acting agent and to sign forms. All plans, forms and monies must be present in order to receive approval. No committee member will be allowed to conduct business from his or her home. All submissions must be complete (see below) and in the correct form at the time of submittal. Only complete submittals will be reviewed: Items necessary include:
A printable summary of submission requirements is available. All plans and specifications for any improvements (including fences) require
the written approval of the Architectural Control and Planning Committee before any such work is commenced.
Three complete sets of plans shall be provided to the Committee. Please refer to the Restated Declaration of Restrictions
(Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions -- CC&R's) and the Architectural
Guidelines for detailed information. Fee Schedule The fee schedule is established to offset Committee operating costs and costs associated with damage caused to Association roads by deliveries of heavy construction equipment and construction materials. Payment of fees shall be by cash or check made payable to the VCHPOA and shall be due upon approval of planned Improvements by the Committee. A. Residences, including attached garages: A total fee of $500.00, $450.00 of which is payment for the impact of construction upon the roadways and $50 of which is an application fee to cover the expenses of the committee. B. Additions, Barns, Detached Garages and Outbuildings: Flat fee of $75.00 C. Decks, covered porches, open-sided horse shelters and sheds, solar and wind structures. Flat fee of $30.00. D. All other Improvements including but not limited to outbuildings smaller than 100 square feet, residing, re-roofing, fences, corrals, breezeways, window greenhouses, gazebos, awnings and repainting of Improvements with new or existing colors must be submitted to the Committee for approval. No fee shall be levied. The above fee structure is applicable to rebuilding of Improvements following destruction by fire or by other causes. |
